Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking multiple Scheduled Maintenance Technicians for our 2nd shift plant operations from 4:30 pm to 2:30. You will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and assist with facility upgrades and repairs as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform minor construction, painting, and carpentry work.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or urgent repair needs.
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large projects.
• Monitor building systems and energy usage to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Stand, walk and move for an entire shift.
• Always use applicable PPE.
• Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in maintenance, with specific experience in automotive, HVAC, forklift maintenance, electrical systems, I&E or PLC.
• Proficiency in electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) preferred.
