Facilities Technician

Facilities Technicians     SRO Housing Facilities Technicians perform work of average to considerable difficulty in the journey-level performance of building maintenance. Responsibilities: Electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, plumbing and painting; Identifying and correcting building and equipment problems; Preventing the degradation of SRO Housing properties and systems; Minor plumbing and carpentry; Prepare for and perform property inspections.  Requirements: Five years of painting and drywall installation/repair, 2+years’ experience in building operations and maintenance (e.g. electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, etc.) Valid CA driver license; High school diploma or Equivalent life experience.

Status:  Full-time Non-Exempt     Hourly Rate: Starting at $20.00 – $24.00 DOE plus benefits
