Matandy Steel & Metal Products, LLC, is a steel service center specializing in the processing of flat rolled material, including aluminized, hot dip galvanized, electro-galvanized, cold rolled, galvannealed, galvalume, and hot rolled pickled and oiled.

We process steel for many industries, including automotive, lawn and garden, construction, office furniture, appliance, agriculture, HVAC and more. Our 120-plus dedicated professionals serve customers across the U.S. from our headquarters in Hamilton, Ohio.

Matandy Steel is named after Matt and Andy Pfirman, the sons of founder Frank Pfirman. When he launched the company in 1987, Frank operated out of his parents’ house using an old card table for a desk, but he had a vision for building something bigger: a company that served people, not businesses. A true entrepreneur, he strove for excellence at every level to build a stronger future for our company, our colleagues, our clients and our community.
In 2022, Frank cemented his people-first legacy by selling the Matandy family of companies to an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). This move made Matandy 100 percent employee-owned and ensured the future of the company as a people-first, customer-first, and community-first organization.
