RiteScreen is America's largest and oldest independent window and door screen manufacturer. With over 75 years of experience and seven U.S. locations, we have become relied upon by builders and homeowners alike, providing fresh air to every home.

Our Story

The RiteScreen Company, LLC was originally founded by JT Walker as the Clearwater Flying Company, which rented and sold airplanes and gave flying lessons to civilians and veterans following World War II. This Florida-based aviation business quickly evolved into Metal Industries Inc. by 1947, marking our initial venture into the window screen industry. Metal Industries utilized a portion of one of their airplane hangars to build window screens with aluminum frames. What JT Walker and his partners began in Florida over 75 years ago has grown into the largest manufacturer of window screens in the country! Previously JT Walker’s screening division, the RiteScreen Company, LLC is comprised of seven strategically located plants, positioned throughout the continental United States.
