Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor-Heat Plant Department: FAES | Wooster Campus Facility Services

Position is a member of the Facilities Operations team on the Wooster Campus under the direct supervision of the Facilities Services Superintendent, responsible for the efficient operation of the Heat Plant and the Steam Maintenance; supervises and directs employees in the department; responsible for providing steam heat in all buildings and associated offices on the Wooster Campus; documents all maintenance activates on the computer maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders and maintain an efficient work flow for the employees; ensures preventive maintenance is complete on all equipment and develops new preventive maintenance processes as needed for the heat plant, chiller plant and associated equipment; works to provide direction on projects such as planning, ordering parts as well as tracking project cost and submitting for funding approvals.

Position is located in Wooster, Ohio.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent experience

3 years of experience required

Required Qualifications
Required: State of Ohio High Pressure Boiler License required. State of Ohio 3rd Class Stationary Engineers License desired; knowledge of management, labor relation, manpower scheduling, supervision and safety; able to work with problem variabilities; understands maintenance repair, wiring, plumbing, heating, electronic/computerized controls; knowledge of computer programs, budgeting knowledge

Desired : Experience working in a union environment with union policies.

The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
