What's a typical day as a Structural Mechanic? You'll be:
Assembling and fitting detail parts and structures, including various drilling and riveting operations, ensuring compliance with FAA requirements and Gulfstream quality standards.
Conducting thorough checks of all work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.
Maintaining logs and records, and entering daily labor against the correct Work Order and Item numbers using the resource planning system.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in structural assembly.
Possess basic knowledge of various aircraft structures, sheet metal, and fabrication processes.
Are proficient in reading and interpreting basic blueprints and have basic computer skills.
