LTS Energy, a leading manufacturer based in Houston, Texas, specializes in High-Pressure, High-Temperature Flowlines, pigging and packaged skid systems, as well as flow control products, including chokes, ball valves, check valves, control valves, and heat exchangers. Our manufacturing operation is an ISO 9001-certified, API-licensed, and custom-built facility located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Job Purpose:
The candidate will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming CNC machines using Master Cam and Long Hand G-Code. This includes setting up and operating the machines while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, as well as maintaining equipment and tools to keep them in optimal working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute machining tasks: Interpret technical documents like blueprints and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to develop machining plans.
• Program mills and lathes: Enter instructions, calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry, and prove part programs.
• Set up machinery: Install and adjust chucks, tools, attachments, and other components; indicate vices and tram heads.
• Load feed mechanisms: Position stock using appropriate lifting methods.
• Verify settings: Measure positions, inspect first-run parts, and ensure adherence to international standards.
• Maintain specifications: Observe and measure operations, troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and replace worn tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols: Follow safety procedures and regulations to maintain safe operations.
• Perform equipment maintenance: Complete preventive maintenance tasks by following manufacturers' instructions.
• Support organizational goals: Take ownership of new requests and identify opportunities to enhance job performance.

Skills/Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in machining
• Experience with CNC equipment
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing machine shop
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and work orders
