Richardson Cooling Packages, LLC designs, produces, sells, and supports cooling system parts and assemblies for use in off-highway applications. We are looking to add team members for TIG welding. This opening for our day shift. Pay will be based on experience.

In this department we produce aluminum radiators and coolant expansion tanks. These are mostly welded on the robot. Fronius power source and Yaskawa arm. Seam fixes and touch ups will be done manually at a TIG machine. There are also small runs that will be totally welded manually.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read part drawings.

Use of measuring tools.

Familiar with the metric system of measurement.

Use, maintain and setup a TIG welding machine.

Radiators and expansion tanks are leak tested after welding so this will be part of the daily routine. Leak free product at the customer is our goal.

Have pride in your work. Welded parts must look good when you are done. We do not have time rework poorly welded parts.

Maintain a clean work area.

During busy times overtime will be required.

If an interview is setup bring a hood for a weld test. We will have various samples of our parts to weld.

Requirements:

· Able to weld aluminum on day 1. We will work with and train you on our part flow and palletizing for downstream operations.

· Ability to follow instructions well

· Self-starter and self-motivated

· Must be able to achieve and maintain production and quality standards

· Must be able to walk and stand upright in a stationary position for periods up to 4 hours

· Frequently move product weighing up to 50 pounds, using lifting, bending, pushing and/or pulling motions

· Lift product of up to 50 pounds from floor to height of 3-4 feet
