Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) transforms the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual at a time. Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral health care, 340B pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more. Working hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning coverage.

JOB SUMMARY

The Grounds Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing hospitality to patients and visitors. Attend to the exterior surrounding of Lower Lights buildings making certain that foliage and surroundings are free from trash and debris and is always presentable; assist with monitoring for safety of cars and property.

DUTIES

RESPONSIBILITY 1. Groundskeeping

  • Removes trash and debris.
  • Maintains an aesthetically pleasant and welcoming environment.
  • Tend to plants, trees and foliage
  • Mowing of grass and maintain and control weeds.
  • Maintain cleaning and trash of internal event space and assist with setup and dis-assemble for various events.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tech issues as needed

RESPONSIBILITY 2. Security Monitoring

  • Assist with an outside presence during assigned hours of parking areas.
  • Monitors and reports any unsafe exterior conditions appropriately including driveway obstructions, lights out, unknown public loitering etc.
  • Reports suspicious behavior around property to security and management.
  • Documents and reports non-standard activities on and around the property.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, objectivity, dependability, and emotional control.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships with the public and other employees.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to inclement weather and elements; position is primarily outdoors.
