Apartment Maintenance Worker / Maintenance Mechanic I

• Carry out continuous inspections and preventative maintenance on all assigned properties
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Effectively repair or replace faulty components to guarantee resident safety
• Proficient in carpentry, minor electrical repairs, plumbing tasks, and hanging / finishing sheetrock
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and compliance policies
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a seamless maintenance operation
• Provide excellent customer service and support to our residents

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance capacity, preferably within apartments
• Familiarity with various electrical components and relevant maintenance methodologies
• Ability to interpret and apply information from technical manuals

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented approach
• Effective time management techniques
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Physical endurance to handle maintenance tasks
• Skilled in following safety protocols
• Proficient use of maintenance tools and equipment

• Technical certifications are valued but not mandatory
