Diesel Mechanic

As a Diesel Mechanic - Service Tech, you’ll use your skills and experience to maintain and repair company owned construction equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Company owned construction equipment includes electric and rough terrain scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, gas/diesel vehicles, plaster/paint pumps and equipment, etc.

Job Tasks:

• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment and tools
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
• When required, travel to job sites for repair/maintenance of company owned equipment
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate
• Must own tools applicable to position
• Knowledge of construction equipment and basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
