CNC Machinist

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Milton, WV

Pay Range: $18/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform mechanical inspections using measuring tools.
• Execute manual lathe work; CNC experience is a plus.
• Read blueprints and apply shop math effectively.
• Conduct millwork including drilling and milling components to size on both manual and CNC mills.
• Assist in set-up work on all machines and perform other related duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read, understand, and modify G-code.
• Previous experience as a qualified machinist.
• Close attention to detail to prevent damage to complex machine tools or costly metals.
• Capability to produce precision work while reading blueprints and specifications.
• Visual acuity to inspect machined parts closely to ensure they meet specifications.
